Pulverization (Full Depth Reclamation) is an ideal first step in the reconstruction of substandard or highly deteriorated parking lots, roads and other asphalt surfaces. Using a pulverizing machine, the damaged asphalt is recycled in place by grinding it into small bits along with a portion of the existing base. Depending on the grade requirements some of this material is removed from site. The bulk is graded and re-compacted into a thicker stronger aggregate base ready for the new pavement.
